I'm styling my first shoot tmw sooo its been kind of crazy figuring everything out. My days are like 8am-11pm at the office! Buttt after sat it'll all die down so I hope yall are around sunday!!!

Its a starry morning sky in los angeles. We're driving to the airport. Its still too early for the morning chill to be had, and so the weather is perfect. Waahhh I don't wanna go home :(
I'm excited to do NY things and see people and begin school, but this has been the most relaxing vacation.

Heyyy so I'm on the plane... Virgin airlines is so strange. They have a NEON lavender and magenta lighting theme going on and trippy space music playing. I feel like I'm at Mars 2112. They're also charging 7 bucks to watch a movie! Whaaat the hell?? And they apparently no longer have free dinner on flights...? Not that I liked it but there's no way I'm paying for that. Luckily I picked up a (also nasty) chicken caesar wrap. Everything appears to be on track and hopefully there won't be any crazy turbulence like some of you experienced. I'm excited to be going away, but it just seems like the strangest time to be going on vacation... I feel like there's so much still to do in Manhattan that I may not have time for once the semester begins. Also I particularly want to be with all of you guys! I uploaded all the pics I took this break and will upload asap once I have internet at my dads, so get ready. There are some really good ones. I will also update on LJ through the roadtrip, and read allllllllll the entries I haven't been able to read.
Ah captains talking... I feel like all flight captains sound the same. No? Shit... He just say there are going to be bumpy rides. Fuck dude. I am so nervous. Shit. Wtf. Oh shit wait. There's no one sitting next to me!!! Yesssss thank goddd. Ah fuck. Gotta go. They've closed the doors and electronic devices must be turned off.

So I'm currently sitting in the restaurant Good by my house. Its completely non pretentious, which I love, but there's something slightly chic about it. Its like, a staple west village institution where young people and gay men frequent on the weekends because the food is just so damn good.the staff is nice, there are cute holiday ornaments. It just makes me happy. Anyways- I'm here alone. Maybe someone will see me and be like- she's cute let me ASK HER OUT. Ha. Right. Well I decided its about time to enjoy what's around me, and thus, must do it on my own as these plans are usually last minute. That is single life in Manhattan. Waaah.

I'm beyond swamped with work right now. Its the type of thing though, that in four days of diligent work I could have it all done and ready to go. Its getting to that POINT that's hard.
Esp with no internet. This really is a problem now. Suzanne is sorting it out apparently. Slowly but surely. And it has to be her bc her name is on the lease. Ugh.
I went to my friends apt in the financial district yesterday night. It. Was. Incredible. What the fuck? Since when did wall st provide residential amenities fit for kings? There's a moon roof with a pool table, refrigerators(sp? phones have no spell check wahhh) to keep drinks cold, a gym (with maddd elipticals, all with private tvs), hang out space - beautifully decorated in amazing furniture (see: philip staerk). I was blown away. Ah! And there's FREE breakfast (bacon sausage eggs cerel fruit EVERYTHING you can imagine) everyday for all residents. Its the bomb.
Anyway time to go eat. I've just worked up an apetite explaining all this! |

We've just been sitting for lunch for two hoursssss.... Ughhhh. They want to take their time because if we end too early it'll look bad. Annoyingggg. At least the food was good.
Anyway- more on the January vacation... I'm hoping it'll all go smoothly but as history shows, I have a feeling my dad and I are going to be getting into major fights. I will do my verrry best to control my defensive side, but idkkkk. Uy. I'm apprehensive...
Moving on, moving on.. I ate a shit ton of food and feel gross now. Waaah.

Hello hello! Greetings from my shoot! Cross your fingers for me that it ends on the earlier side. That way I can nap/get some work done before the 830 screening of THE READER. Ahhhhh! I'm so fucking exciteddddd.
Did I mention that for two weeks in January I'm going to be on a road trip with my dad up the southern coast of California? Its gonna be craaaazy. I may ask for a new camera for xmas - one that's lighter than what I have now...
The best thing about shoots = free food, so I'm gonna go take advantage of that right nowwww.
